LED Double Dutch Show: Our New Creation, Unveiled in Amnéville
On 1 April 2026, the auditorium at Kinepolis Amnéville went dark a second time. The finalist short films had just left the screen, and two arcs of light began to turn in front of it.
That was the first public outing of our LED Double Dutch show, a format nobody else offers in Europe.
The only LED Double Dutch show in Europe
The principle fits in one line: cut the light and let the ropes make their own. Fitted with LEDs along their full length, they do more than become visible — as they turn, they draw continuous shapes in the air, closing curves, colours shifting with the rhythm of the jump. What the audience follows is no longer quite a jumper. It is a line of light that breathes.
It is a Double Dutch show built for near-total darkness, and that is where its singularity lies.
It is our newest artistic creation, and no other company performs it in Europe today.
The Moselle department programmes it as its festival's closing act
The opportunity came from the Moselle department, which runs the Sports Film Festival every spring. For its third edition, from 24 March to 1 April 2026, the festival left its Amnéville home base for the first time and travelled to Sarrebourg, Thionville and Marly, with more than 3,200 free seats booked. Marie-José Pérec was billed on 31 March, and the final day was given over to para-sport.
That closing day is the one that took us in, immediately after the screening of the finalists in the Moselle short-film competition.
The venue has a story of its own. The Kinepolis sits inside the Cité des Loisirs of Amnéville, developed from the 1980s across 400 hectares of former industrial wasteland, on the initiative of Dr Jean Kiffer.
What's next?
The LED show travels exceptionally well. It's a luminous performance that fits just as naturally on a theater stage, in front of a cinema screen, or at a corporate event.
It requires very little: near-total darkness, a few meters of clear space, and an audience ready to look up. Amnéville was the first stop. Maybe the next one will be with you!
